Today we went to a funeral of a friend's father. It was sad but it was also a celebration of his life. I only met him once but have heard so many stories about him from his daughter that I felt I knew him. He had three great children and several charming and handsome grandchildren.


I will only say that we are all so lucky to have such great parents and it is so sad when one of them leaves us.
