Hydrangeas - is there really anything better?

In this heat make certain to water your garden, especially those thirsty hydrangeas, morning and night. Always water before 8:30 in the morning. Then I usually water again at 6 or 7. I'm not a professional and some people have told me that watering at night makes the roots rot, although this has never happened to me.
