Nice family dinner at my house on Friday. We chatted forever and got caught up on everyone's activities. Such fun! I made meatballs from Rao's cookbook and they were delish. I cheated and served them up with bottled Rao's marinara sauce but I have never tasted a sauce as good as theirs so I don't even bother to try to make it myself.
This was a case where it really did help to have excellent equipment. I cooked them in an All Clad 14" stir fry pan and it worked like a marvel. I used my rubber-tipped tongs to turn them and my fish spatula to unstick the stubborn ones. Helpful utensils from All Clad as well.
I am going to spend the day working with my virtual photography class. Then at the end of the day I plan on tackling the mess in my room. I'll turn on Ellen, then Chris Matthews, then the news and hopefully that will keep me company while I put things away.
