Yesterday while doing errands I came across the most beautiful lilacs I have ever seen. They were quite a surprise and absolutely breathtaking. That's what we have to do - look for the beautiful things in our everyday surroundings, even though that seems nearly impossible some days.

| I went to a talk on flowers at Simon Pearce. (They were trying to sell their vases which are exquisite.) Give your lilacs a fresh cut and then cut up into the branch a couple of times. This will allow them to drink more water and keep them fresher. |
